DTSC Fall Colour Tour and
Year End Party
Saturday September 22nd, 2007 The Fall Colour Tour and the Year End Party will be combined this year and will take place Saturday, September 22. Participants will be treated to a full day and evening of fun, festivities, food and comradarie. We will gather at Roger Cotting’s home (56050 Eight Mile Road – Northville, MI) about 12:30 p.m. and will depart promptly at 1 p.m. for the tour. As has been done in recent Fall Colour Tours we have invited participation of other British car clubs in the area such at the S.E. Michigan Austin Healey Car Club, Windsor-Detroit MG Car Club, MG-T Club, Jaguar Affiliates Group of Michigan, and Border City Mini Club to join us for the drive. If the weather cooperates we can expect to see a vast array of interesting LBCs and many participants. In addition to the scenic drive participants in the Fall Colour Tour will also be able to compete in a Poker Run during the drive. Beginning at the start of the tour Poker Run participants will draw cards at the various stops concluding with the final card selection at Baker’s in Milford. Prizes will be awarded to the top two & the worst poker hands. There will be a $5 charge to participate in the Poker Run. Proceeds from the Poker Run will be presented to charity. The route will cover approximately 80 miles and will wind through some of the scenic roads in Washtenaw County. The drive will conclude at Baker’s in Milford (2025 S. Milford Road – Milford, MI 248-685-0505/248-685-3300). Expected conclusion time is 5:30 p.m. All arriving participants of the Fall Colour Tour will be invited into a reserved banquet room at Baker’s for cocktails. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet representatives of the other British car clubs as well as DTSC members. Winners of the Poker Run will be recognized at the conclusion of the cocktail hour. Following cocktails the DTSC will
have their annual Year End Party. A hot dinner buffet of roast beef,
stuffed chicken, salads, assorted veggies, dessert & coffee
will be available along with various awards and recognitions taking
place during the evening. Charge for the Year End Party is $35/person.
DTSC club members can make payment through PayPal. Club members
can also pay via cash or check (payable to DTSC) and given to Dan
Campana at club events or membership meetings between now and the
