The Detroit Triumph Sportscar Club celebrates its
46th year at the 23rd Annual Battle of the Brits, Michigan’s
largest display of classic British automobiles and motorcycles.
Located on the picnic grove lawn of beautiful Freedom Hill County
Park, the event includes concours judging for all cars, participants’
choice show, and autojumble. Place awards will be presented to the
top 3 vehicles in 38 Concours classes and 14 Participants’
Choice classes, and special awards will be given to the “President’s
Preference,” “Chairman’s Choice,” “Best
in Show,” and “Diamond in the Rough.”
The North American Spitfire Squadron - NASS - will be joining us
this year for their Central Region Spit-Together, and DTSC will
present a special award to the “Best in Show” Spitfire
and the “Best in Show” GT6.
British car registration fee: $20US/ $23Canadian before September
1, 2005 (includes event T-shirt), and $20 US/$23Canadian after September
1, 2005 (event T-shirt NOT Included). There is an $8.00 per car
spectator parking fee for non-participants. Due to the increasing
popularity of this event, early registration is suggested. Each
car or vendor registration includes a dash plaque, goody bag, and
door prize ticket. The vendor fee is the same as (but in addition
to) the British car registration fee. NOTE: Only registrations postmarked
September 1, 2005 or earlier will receive a free event T-shirt for
each car registered.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO rain date. The Battle of the Brits
will be held
